Powakaddy Compact CT6 EBS Electric Trolley Powakaddy

1. As of January 1, 2020, VAVAAL 749 SL (“Powakaddy España”) of Avenida Marqués del Duero, 29688, Cancelada, Málaga provides the purchaser of any new Powakaddy product (“product”) purchased through any of our authorized agents in Spain and Portugal a Limited Manufacturer’s Warranty against inherent defects for the period, as well as on the exclusions and conditions detailed below.

*Extended warranties are subject to registration within 30 days of purchase

2. The “Standard” warranty (also called “Full”) is subject to the following exclusions:
i. Accidental damage, customer misuse or negligence.
ii. Abnormal wear.
iii. Rental or any other commercial use.
IV. Unauthorized product modification.
v. Defective repairs by the customer or unauthorized agent.
saw. Failure to follow battery charging instructions, including leaving the battery discharged for extended periods of time.
vii. Removing or voiding the serial numbers on any item voids the warranty.

3. The following conditions apply:

Yo. The Powakaddy Standard warranty covers manufacturing defects that occur under normal use of the electric cart. Any breakage caused by accidental damage or as a result of abuse and misuse or commercial use is not covered.
ii. Under this scheme, Powakaddy Spain, of its own free will, will repair or replace the defective product or part.
iii. Powakaddy has the right to inspect or check any Product declared defective.
IV. The warranty period begins on the date of purchase of the Product. Proof of purchase will be required.
v. Any repair or replacement performed free of charge does not carry a new warranty beyond that of the original purchase.
saw. Warranty registration within 30 days of electric golf cart or battery purchase is required to ensure that any claim can be processed promptly, without the need for additional proof of purchase.
vii. Warranty registration within 30 days of purchasing a model CT6, CT6 GPS, FX7 or FX7 GPS cart is required to qualify for the full “3 Year Frame Warranty Program”. Unregistered product will have a standard 2-year warranty.
viii. Warranty registration within 30 days of purchase of a Plug ‘n’ Play™ battery is required to qualify for the full “5 Year Prorated Warranty” program. Unregistered product will have a standard 2-year warranty.
ix. The guarantee is not transferable and is only available to residents of Spain and Portugal. Customers living outside of Spain and Portugal should contact their local retailer or distributor.

4. This warranty is in addition to and does not affect the statutory rights of the consumer.

‡ CROSS-BORDER SALES
PowaKaddy has an exclusive distributor who deals with sales that have been made in each of its franchised countries. This means that warranties for products sold in one country are not transferable to another country because such contracts follow business-to-business transactions.

Therefore, retailers, especially online retailers, are expected to make it clear that “out of country” sales only carry a “return to retailer” guarantee. Therefore, for example, a product purchased in the UK and shipped to Spain will not be repaired under warranty in Spain. It will need to be shipped back to the UK before being considered for UK warranty repair. PowaKaddy will not pay for this shipment because it is a breach of contract with your distributor. So consumers and sellers have to take this into account.

International regulations governing the transport of lithium batteries mean that lithium batteries can only be handled by specialized operators. In addition, these regulations also prevent these companies from transporting potentially “defective” or “failed” lithium batteries. Business owners who violate these regulations are personally liable for the violations, as Amazon recently discovered. This effectively means that buying a lithium battery from another country completely defeats the warranty offered in the other country because it cannot be invoked.

Therefore, the PowaKaddy website will not allow the registration of warranty purchases outside the country.
